It provides superb cottage accommodation for a self-catering holiday near Alnwick and Morpeth in Northumberland. The cottage is beautifully sunny, as all the rooms face south or south and west. Like all of our holiday cottages, there are masses of books and pictures, and all the little touches that visitors to Beacon Hill have come to expect. Accommodation The sitting room has an open fire and
well-stocked bookshelves, a DVD player and CD radio. This room and the kitchen open out into an exceptionally large double-glazed garden room, 30 feet long, containing both comfortable
seating and dining areas. This, in turn, opens into a private lawned garden with stunning views to the south and the Northumberland coast.
The kitchen has granite worktops, stainless steel oven and hob, a dishwasher, washer drier, fridge, freezer and microwave. There is a granite-topped island unit in the centre of the kitchen,
adding to the excellent working space. The downstairs accommodation is completed by a bathroom with a power shower. Upstairs, there is one double bedroom with a king-size bed and television, two twin bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bath and power shower.
