There is ramped access to all three cottages which are on one level. One enters over a low level thresh into a large tiled entrance hall. All three bedrooms are sufficiently spacious to allow for wheel chair transfer into the bed so the disabled guest has the choice of using a single bed or a super king sized double bed.

The ramp leads from a drop off point in the car parking space , up and into the very spacious hall. The main bathroom has a roll in shower specifically designed for the wheel chair user. The wheel chair can push over the WC and the seat is designed for this usage. There is ample room for transfer beside the WC and the appropriate grab rails are in place.

The bath has grab rails and we have a bath seat for those that require it.

The windows in all three of these cottages are to the floor in the sitting room and there are marvellous views across rolling fields.

There are four other cottages at Beacon Hill that have ramped access and are on one level: Willow, Larch, Oak and Elm Cottages. Quarry House, Stable and Wood Cottages are also on one level for those that wish to avoid staircases.
