Near Alnwick and Morpeth in Northumberland, South Granary is a luxury self catering holiday cottage for a family or group of six. Converted from an original farm barn, it is full of character and offers commanding views to the west from the sitting room. It is located in a lawned, south-facing, sheltered courtyard with tables and chairs outside.

Accommodation

This holiday cottage on two levels has been turned upside down to take advantage if its position. The superb upstairs sitting room features a wood stove and a large arched window to the west and further windows to the south and north, all with wonderful views… it is possible on a very clear day to see the Cumbrian fells in the distance.

Also upstairs is a spacious and light dining room / kitchen with granite worktops and a full range of appliances, including a washer drier and dish washer. There are masses of books and pictures as well as a CD player and radio.

Downstairs is a tiled entrance hall, a double bedroom with king-size bed, en-suite shower room and television, two twin bedrooms, and a fully-tiled master bathroom with bath and power shower.
