The spacious sitting / dining room features a large arched window offering marvellous views to the south, a vaulted ceiling with timber beams, and masses of books, making this an exceptionally atmospheric and comfortable base for a self-catering holiday near Alnwick and Morpeth in Northumberland.

The kitchen has granite worktops and is fully equipped with an excellent ange of appliances, including a washer drier and dishwasher (please note that Stable Cottage and Wood Cottage share the use of a deep freeze in the nearby courtyard).

The sleeping accommodation comprises one double bedroom and one bunk bedroom with full-size adult beds. The fully-tiled bathroom has a bath and power shower.
