In January 2026’s episode of ‘Weekend Escapes’, Robson Green is joined by his footballing hero, former England and Newcastle United captain Alan Shearer. In the episode, the pair meet up to go mackerel fishing off the Northumberland coast and on the eve of the big day, Robson chose to stay with us at Beacon Hill Farm.
We were thrilled to show Robson around our 360-acre private estate, and he took the time to enjoy a wild swim in Meg’s Lake before relaxing for the night in our fabulous Treehouse. Our previewed episode aired on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, on BBC2 at 6.30pm.
