North Granary is an upside-down luxury self-catering holiday cottage with the sitting room and dining area upstairs to take advantage of the vaulted and beamed ceiling. There is also a WC on this level. This characterful cottage is situated in a lawned, south-facing, sheltered courtyard with tables and chairs outside, and makes a great base for a family holiday near Alnwick and Morpeth in Northumberland.
Downstairs, there is a spacious hall, a double and a twin bedroom, and a bathroom with a bath and separate walk in power shower.
Upstairs, the vaulted sitting room has a light and airy feeling with views across the wooded gardens. The wood-burning stove, books, a large Smart tv, radio and Bluetooth speaker. Table lamps and pictures combine to make this a very atmospheric room.
