1Created from the old joiner’s workshop to form a cosy self-catering holiday cottage retreat for a couple, Wood Cottage is beautifully compact, but because it has has been superbly designed it feels spacious with everything in exactly the right place. This not only makes it a great choice for a get-away-from-it-all holiday cottage in Northumberland, but it’s also perfect for intimate weekends with a partner. It is one of our most popular holiday cottages and has a very high re-booking rate.

Holiday Cottage Accommodation
The open-plan living area is light and airy, with masses of books, pictures and prints, and retains the wooden beams of the original building. There is a large Smart tv, radio and Bluetooth speaker.
The living area opens out into a lawned courtyard furnished with garden seats to create a sun trap.
There is one double bedroom with an en-suite fully-tiled shower room with power shower.
This cottage has the use of a laundry and shared use with Stable Cottage of a deep freeze in a utility room beside the cottage.
